its TGIF! not that it really affects me because i'm permanently on HOLIDAY till the end of aug! Woohoo!
Ok, i should really take this one month to think of what i want to do in future.
at one point in your life, you're so certain of what you want to do but as time passes, things start to change, you realise that you may not be cut out for this career path you planned in your head.
your interest change, you want to try new things, explore and be different 
well as for me, i'm not a fan of following the system. you know the normal path that many accountants or bankers take?
Accountants: after graduation -> any Big 4 -> Slot your guts out for 2-4 years -> take CPA -> so forth...
Bankers: after graduation -> foreign bank -> work your way up the corporate ladder -> CFA -> MBA -> so forth.
seriously....
grr..
really trying to find myself at this point in time now.
Classmate and I thought of something. haha both of us are lost too actually in this whirlpool.
we thought of an idea, we want to grow it but how. what. when. and really?
come to think of it, it all starts with a seed and grows into an idea anyways.
but you know, studying that industry and knowing the ropes are really important before you jump into the frying pan.

i manage to get my nails done! its been a while since i've pampered those.

oh well, i should blog more often since i have so much time in the world at this moment.
and yes, i should really start baking soon. but after my manicure wears off.. HAHA

so many things are running through my head at this moment as I'm writing this.
yesterday was a horrible day.
i feel so lost. very lost in fact
guilt feels my heart and i really do not know how to move on from here.
what should i do? i always ask myself with no answer to it.
they'll say "pray about it"- but does it really help?
the only thought i have now is to close myself in.
some people are more relationships inclined but others are not and would be best to be left alone.
maybe i am one of them.
maybe being left alone is the best alternative to stop inflicting hurt to the people and making people around me inflict hurt onto themselves
i think i have had enough. i think.
i hope my thinking is wrong but for now, it seems the most practical.

the companionship, the games played and the laughter and and jokes shared...
but once grown up..
you just lose it.

Hello. Guess what greeted me after a hard day at work trying to stay awake before and after lunch haha..

Beautiful Rainbow
Such rare chances to see a rainbow in spore. didnt hesitate to snap a pic of it :)

Its thursday and within a couple of days, dear lincoln will be gone.
the thought of it saddens me.. but this rainbow cheered me up a little.
a rainbow after a rain..
that's what i hope our hurdle will reap... a rainbow..

 

Oops its been so long since i've updated this space and im doing so now cos i have nothing to do...
my weekends aren't used to be so free especially when doing overtime has killed so many of my saturdays..
but for today..
its different.
i did something called..

we've finally turned 2.. !
well its not that as thought its a big thing or so..
IN FACT! its just the beginning..
Since both of us were working, we just had a quick dinner and caught Knight and Day..
Was never really a Tom Cruise fan.. in fact, i don't remember watching any of the shows he starred previously in.. not even the famous mission impossible hahahaha..
and yes.. he's bod is still so good considering his age..
too bad he's a short fart.. too bad for you Mr Cruise when Kidman commented: "finally i can wear my heels" when he cheated on her.
but aside from that.. yes, he's 6 packs can be literally used as a washboard HAHA!
but that wasn't the focus of the night..
it was the company of the night :) 

Thank you Mr lincoln tay for being through thick and thin with me though i continue to be an endless trouble maker for you!

its been a while since i've updated this space.
so here's a compressed update on all that has happened in the past 2 weeks.
work has been reallllllllyyyy tiring..
i experience a combination of a few different roles at work.
aside from handling a project at work, i also feel like a teacher (checking other people's work) and doing the boring data entry.
despite that, i'm quite thankful that my jobscope still allows me to utilise my brain cells and in fact it can be quite challenging at times because there are alot models to understand in the company and they are not exactly comprehendable.
and aside from the normal 9am to 6.30pm i still have addition 2 hrs of OT to clock everyday and saturdays too.
OT can actually seem quite fun cos you earn additional moolah but not when u have to do so from mons to fri and sat too...
just yesterday, i worked the full shift.. yawns..
i'm writing all these so that i can keep track of the happenings during my internship but not too much info to be given out cos i'm governed by law not to say certain things...
just to sum up in short...

i choose to see this internship positively though it can be a pain :)

and i am so looking forward to next week as its gonna be a short one! all thanks to vesak day!
i just want to sleep in and be a total bum just for a little while...

work is tiring and work makes mabel a boring girl.
working in a bank doesn't seem that fun after all. the work is sooo mundane.. but i think its just the nature of the department i am in.
and...
kill me for saying this. argh!
i am not allowed to access internet! and only a couple few in the office has internet access
and this is sooo crazy cos haha i am very reliant on internet.
i mean.. come on man.. even macdonald's has free wifi and iphone data plan allows internet access.. so internet access's like the norm
and having no internet access at work makes me really bored.. especially when surfing the internet for just 10minutes could a method of revitalisation.
don't these people know that?!

this, being the first company i am working in which does not have internet access (kill me!).. gosh! i am totally not used to it!
i only have access to their intranet WHICH is uber boring. UBER UBER boring..
its only day 3 and i'm a little dreading it.
please please please..

i haven't really absorbed the fact that i'm starting internship tomorrow
and it just seems too soon to be true..
well i guess they always say that time flies when you're having fun
and yes.. it really did pass in a swift.. even before i can fully absorb its beauty.
well just another comforting note that i am not the only one doing internship hahaha
many of my friends are facing the same plight as am i..
so.. i'm just gonna suck it up and just think of the money..think of the money hahaha..
though its not alot but its relatively decent, i must say :)
considering my workplace is in tampines...
maybe i shouldn't complain so much about it hahahaha..
